The Educational and Scientific Committee is an advisory body in the geopark scientific and educational areas. Its members can inform or participate actively in activities such as the following:
Promotion of scientific studies for the improvement or protection of the geological, natural or cultural values of the Geopark or in its social and economic development.
Give scientific visibility with publications, seminars and scientific events.
Guarantee the educational project of the Geopark.
Define the protection criteria of the Geopark and propose the compilation of the geological heritage of Villuercas – Ibores – Jara.
